For 10 years Air Chathams has provided an air service between Whanganui and Auckland. To celebrate this milestone, we are running a month-long competition for our Whanganui community to guess the total number of passengers we have carried in the past 10 years for a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime week-long trip to the Chatham Islands.
This awesome prize includes:
1. Return flights for two from Whanganui to the Chatham Islands with Air Chathams
2. Seven nights accommodation at Hotel Chathams
4. A Crayfish dinner
To Enter:
1. You must reside in Whanganui to redeem this prize.
2. You must have submitted your guess to the total number of passengers carried over 10 years of air service in and out of the Whanganui region

Competition Period:
The competition will run from 1 August to 20 August 2026.
Winner Selection:
The winner will be drawn and contacted on Friday 21 August 2026.
The prize winner will be contacted by Air Chathams via the email used to enter the competition and will have three days to accept the prize. If the prize is not accepted within this timeframe, another winner will be drawn and contacted.
Prize Conditions:
The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
This prize must be booked within 12 months of being drawn
