Temporary Fuel Surcharge on Air Chathams Flights

Due to recent events in the Middle East impacting global fuel markets, aviation fuel prices in New Zealand have risen significantly. 

Effective 11 March 2026, a fuel surcharge of $20 per sector will be applied to tickets purchased for travel on all Air Chathams scheduled services until further notice. 

Please note: 

• The $20 surcharge will be added to the total ticket price at the time of booking. 
• The surcharge applies to all scheduled flights only. 
• It does not apply to infant fares, prepaid vouchers (Multi-Pass), or package deals. 
• The fuel surcharge does not apply to existing fully paid tickets. 

This surcharge will be reviewed regularly and will be removed once fuel prices return to more normal levels.
