Auckland Airport Domestic Terminal

Checking in passengers and providing excellent customer service at our Auckland Airport, Domestic Airport Check-in Facility.

Checking in passengers and providing excellent customer at our Auckland Check-In Facility at the Auckland Airport Domestic Terminal.  Between check in requirements for flights you will assist with Reservations.

The position will be made up of shifts between the hours of 6:30am and 7:00pm including some weekends.  Full training, parking and uniforms will be provided.

Career progression to Flight Attendant is a possibility for those successful applicants interested in such a role and demonstrating ability.

You will be comfortable dealing with people in person and on the telephone. Experience with an Aviation Reservation and Check-in system will be an advantage as would any previous experience in a Customer Services Role.

We require someone who will fit with the Air Chathams ground and flight crew and able to work well in a team environment.  Flexibility is an essential as you may be required to stay later in the case of a disruption of flights. 

The ability to work under pressure is important as well has having a professional approach and good organisational and time management details.  Excellent attention to detail and a good health and safety awareness and culture is also important.

Air Chathams was founded in 1984 and operates scheduled flights between Auckland and the Chatham Islands, Whakatane, Whanganui and the Kapiti Coast, the Chatham Islands to Wellington and Christchurch and charter flights throughout New Zealand and the Pacific.
