Aircraft Maintenance Engineers

Auckland Domestic Airport

We are looking for two Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) and one Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME).

We currently have three vacancies - two for Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) and one for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME).  When applying, please state which position you are interested in.  Positions are based at the Air Chathams Auckland Airport Operations Base.

Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)

Holder of NZ CAA Maintenance License or a transferable CASA License

Essential Selection Criteria: ·

  • Proven self-starter with a flexible attitude.
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Trade Certificate/ Certificate IV or small aircraft lower group license.
  • Ability to work a 7-day shift roster.
  • Proven ability to work in a close knit team environment however also have the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
  • A demonstrated willingness to accept responsibility.
  • Understanding and willingness to accept the sometimes harsh work environment of line maintenance.
  • Hold or ability to obtain an airport ASIC security ID and Airside Driver’s License.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

 

Preferred Selection Criteria:

  • Convair CV580 Rating with experience highly preferred
  • ATR 72 Rating with experience highly preferred
  • SAAB 340 Rating with experience highly preferred
  • Metro SA227 Rating with experience highly preferred
  • Experience on transport category and/or turbo-prop aircraft
  • Experience in Airline operations or relevant GA experience.
