Air Chathams has operated Fairchild Metroliners since 1992, and in that time they have proved a safe, fast, and efficient commuter aircraft. This aircraft type is also very versatile, it has seating for 19 passengers and can operated as a freighter with a maximum payload of 2 tonne.

The Metroliner is flown by two pilots, is pressurised and can be flown above the weather. It has a great range with full fuel this aircraft can fly for over 6 hours. Allowing customers to charter this aircraft to remote locations.

Our Metroliner is predominately used on the Auckland to Whakatane schedule, but is also available for charter from our charter base in Auckland, New Zealand.
