Most of Pitt Island’s 6,300 hectares is privately owned and difficult to access. Generally Pitt’s scenic beauty is only visible from private property, as such, Flowerpot Adventures has negotiated access with Islanders to some of Pitt Island’s most scenic vantage points and other points of interest in order to maximize your Pitt Island encounter. Visitor numbers to Pitt Island are strictly limited to ensure that the delicate nature and balance of the Island is maintained.

Bookings are essential. If you are contemplating visiting Pitt Island, we suggest that you book early so as to allow an alternate day if weather conditions do not permit.

Your Accommodation Provider will normally make all the arrangements and provide transport to and from Chatham's airport.

A minimum number of 4 are required, maximum 10 unless by prior arrangement. Smaller groups may be combined.

Special Interest Tours, Geological, Ornithological and Botanical Tours can also be arranged.
